SEPTEMBER PROPHETIC WORD: YOUR NAME IS BEING WRITTEN IN NEON LIGHTS

People of God, this word is the word that will transition us into the next season. I truly believe it carries the culmination of what the Lord has been speaking and preparing for this appointed time, so I encourage you to read it carefully and prayerfully.

As we approach the celebration of the Jewish New Year, 5787, I believe the Lord is doing a new thing among His remnant. He is bringing certain seasons, assignments, and processes to completion and bringing promises into fulfillment.

The Hebrew letter connected with seven is Zayin, often associated with a sword or weapon. There is a connection between the mouth and the sword. We have been in the decade of Peh, associated with the mouth and speech, and now there is a shift from speaking what God Has said to seeing His Word established and carried out. What was declared in previous seasons is coming into manifestation.

This is also a year of alignment. Our mouths, declarations, choices, and lives must come into agreement with Heaven. Sanctification is paramount if we want to walk in the fullness of God’s will and purpose for our lives and for His Kingdom.

As I look back at the prophetic words the Lord Has given me in the last months, I can see how they have been connecting all along. The words about Kairos, Nexus, preparation, restoration, provision, visibility, elevation, and now our names being written in neon lights are converging in this appointed time.

I believe we have entered a Kairos moment where what God has been developing separately is now coming together. Gifts, experiences, relationships, opportunities, preparation, and prophetic words are aligning with His timing.

God is positioning His people in places of greater influence so that His Kingdom can be demonstrated through their lives.

That is why I believe this word, “Your Name Is Being Written in Neon Lights,” is the culmination of what He has been speaking. The preparation, refining, obedience, promises, and hidden seasons have all been leading to this moment!

We are moving from preparation into positioning, from promise into fulfillment, and from hiddenness into visibility.

Read this word with expectation, because I believe it is speaking directly into the season we are entering.

Your Name Is Being Written in Neon Lights

For the last couple of weeks, I have been seeing my name written in neon lights in the spirit, and I heard the Lord saying, “Your name is being written in neon lights.” I asked Him what He meant, and I heard, “I am writing your name in neon lights. I am causing a spotlight to shine on you, like a spotlight shines on a lone performer on a dark stage, highlighting the person who is about to perform next. Everyone’s attention is drawn to that person, and no matter how much they may try not to focus on them, their eyes keep being drawn back to them.”

I looked up the definition of the idiom “your name written in neon lights,” and this is what it says: To have your name “written in neon lights” is an expression that means becoming highly visible, recognized, prominent, celebrated, or publicly known. It comes from the image of theaters, marquees, restaurants, and entertainment venues where a performer’s or business’s name is displayed in bright neon for everyone to see.

So when something is written in neon lights, it stands out. It is unmistakable and difficult to ignore. Even if someone wanted to dismiss it, avoid it, or look somewhere else, the brightness keeps drawing their attention back to it.

Your name becomes recognizable. Your work becomes known.

The Lord also kept repeating another phrase : “Your name will be in their face.”

He was saying that our name will be spoken, mentioned, suggested, and seen by so many, and so often, that it will be impossible to escape, overlook, unsee, or unhear.

Just like a bright neon sign that repeatedly catches your eye, a name can keep appearing until it becomes impossible to dismiss. Someone hears your name from one person, then another. They see your work somewhere else. Someone recommends you. Your name comes up again in a completely different conversation. Then it appears again. Eventually, they have to pay attention because it keeps being placed in front of them.

Everything you have been doing quietly and faithfully will be seen, and what people once overlooked and dismissed about you, becomes impossible to ignore. You will be known as an expert in your field, not because of degrees or professional training, but because of what you have lived, learned, and overcome. You have been trained in the trenches, through real experience, and that has made you both a weapon and an asset some ministries, businesses, and influential people will recognize they cannot afford to go without.

You will carry the wisdom, strategy, and practical insight needed to solve the exact problems they are facing.

Just as it happened with Joseph. He faithfully used his gifts wherever God placed him, and at the appointed time, God highlighted his name to the cupbearer, and the spotlight suddenly shone on him.

Then the Lord told me to look at the actual science of neon to see how it works, and of course, He completely blew my mind with what He showed me.

Neon is classified as a noble gas. Scientifically, “noble” means that it is naturally very unreactive. It can be placed inside a sealed tube and simply drift around without causing much change. But when an electrical current passes through that tube, the neon atoms become excited, or energized. That energy begins moving through the gas, and when the atoms release that energy, they emit visible light.

What was already present inside the tube suddenly becomes illuminated.

Immediately, I saw a picture of us. We are like the neon. We are noble, royal, belonging to the Kingdom of God, and yet there can be seasons when everything God has deposited inside of us seems inactive.

The gifts are there. The talents are there. The skills are there. The wisdom, experiences, lessons, creativity, calling, and everything God has been developing in us are already present, but for a season, we may simply feel as though we are drifting around without making any noticeable difference on the earth.

Then the current comes.

The Holy Spirit begins to move upon, awaken, and energize what God has already placed within us. He begins His work throughout our whole being, transforming us from the inside out, and suddenly what was there all along begins to produce visible light. Every part of our lives begins coming alive with the power and light of the Holy Spirit in a way that others can actually see.

I believe the Lord has been using our gifts, our talents, our skills, our obedience, our hidden seasons, our victories, and even the trials and negative circumstances we have walked through to create the environment necessary to prepare us for the right time.

It does not mean God caused every painful thing that happened, but He has used what we surrendered to Him. He has developed us in places where nobody was watching. He has allowed us to practice, learn, grow, fail, get back up, mature, and become faithful with what He placed in our hands before bringing greater visibility.

You see, there comes a time when what God has been developing privately begins to shine publicly, and when that time comes, the light emanating from us becomes impossible to ignore.

The Lord then brought me to David. When Samuel arrived at Jesse’s house to anoint the next king, Samuel saw Eliab and immediately thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him.” Eliab looked the part. He had the stature and outward appearance that Samuel associated with kingship.

But the Lord corrected Samuel and said, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

One by one, Jesse’s sons passed before Samuel, and one by one the answer was: “No. Not this one. Next.” Seven sons passed before Samuel, yet God had not highlighted any of them.

Finally, Samuel asked Jesse:

“Are all your sons here?” Jesse answered that the youngest was still out keeping the sheep.

David had not even been considered. He was not standing among the obvious candidates. He was in the field doing what he had always done, faithfully tending sheep in the hidden place. Worshipping his God when no one was watching. Slaying bears and lions with his bare hands. He was being prepared by God for his assignment. When David was brought before Samuel, the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he.” There it was.

Suddenly, David was highlighted. The spotlight shone on him. God put His finger on him and said, “This one. This is the one I chose.”

David’s name had not been written in neon lights to people yet, but it was already highlighted before God.

David was not chosen because of his stature, influence, position, or power. He was chosen because God saw his heart. Nobody looking at that shepherd boy would have imagined him on a throne, but God knew exactly what He had placed inside of him.

Then the moment came when what had been developed privately was needed publicly.

Saul was tormented, and someone in Saul’s court remembered David. First Samuel 16:18 says, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the Lord is with him.”

Think about that. David had been playing his harp in a field, but somehow his name reached the palace. Someone had seen him. Someone knew what he carried. Someone mentioned his name in a room David was not standing in.

That is the part the Lord kept highlighting to me. Your name can enter rooms before you do.

People can begin mentioning you in conversations you know nothing about. Someone can say: “I know a person.”

Someone else can say: “What about her?”

Your name begins coming up over and over again, in different rooms, among different people, and in connection with different opportunities.

People begin suggesting your name for specific situations. Your name begins being considered for positions, assignments, opportunities, and places of influence.

People who may never have personally met you begin recognizing your name because God knows exactly how to cause the right people to become aware of what He has placed inside of you.

David eventually went from tending sheep to standing before a king, and then later becoming king himself. The harp he learned to play in the field to worship his God, opened a door into the palace before the crown ever did.

The courage developed while fighting animals prepared him to face Goliath before an entire nation. What we once thought was wasted time, wasted sacrifice, or even a wasted season can become essential to our elevation, just as it did for David.

We see the same pattern with Joseph. Joseph used what God had given him wherever he was. He served faithfully in Potiphar’s house. He used his gift in prison. He interpreted dreams when there was no indication that doing so would ever benefit him.

Then, at the appointed time, Pharaoh had a problem that required the exact gift Joseph had been faithfully using in hidden and difficult places. Suddenly, Joseph’s name came up. The cupbearer remembered him. Joseph was called out of prison and brought before Pharaoh, and the gift he had been stewarding privately became the doorway into the palace.

Esther was also highlighted to me. She was one young woman among many women brought before the king, yet favor rested upon her. God knew the position she would eventually need to occupy before she understood why she was there. At the right time, Esther was positioned where her voice could be heard and where her obedience could affect an entire people.

The Lord also reminded me of Daniel and his three friends, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. They were among many young men taken into Babylon, but there was something distinguishable about them. Daniel 1 says that God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in visions and dreams. When they stood before the king, he found them ten times better than the magicians and enchanters in his kingdom.

Later, Daniel’s gift repeatedly caused him to be brought before kings. Even in a foreign system that did not worship his God, what God had placed inside of him could not remain hidden.

This is what I believe the Lord is saying through this message He gave me: “Your name is being written in neon lights.”

There are people who have been faithfully serving God, developing their gifts, obeying Him, and doing what He asked them to do in places where very few people have been watching.

But hidden preparation has an appointed time. God knows how to highlight the person He has prepared for the assignment He has prepared them for.

That is what the Lord meant when He said:

“I am writing your name in neon lights.”

He Is bringing recognition to what He Has been developing in us in the secret place.

He Is causing our names to be remembered, mentioned, recommended, and recognized.

Just as He highlighted David to Samuel, Joseph to Pharaoh, Esther to the king, and Daniel and his friends in Babylon, God knows how to make the person He has chosen for an assignment impossible to overlook when the appointed time arrives.

The neon was always neon. Everything necessary to produce the light was already there. It simply needed the current and the right environment for what was hidden inside to become visible.

In the same way, many of the things God is about to highlight have not suddenly appeared. They have been developing for years.

The gifts were being exercised. The character was being formed. The lessons were being learned. The heart was being tested. The preparation was happening.

And now, when the Holy Spirit breathes upon what God has been developing and the appointed moment meets the prepared vessel, what was once hidden can begin to shine so brightly that the world will not be able to ignore what that person carries.

Get ready to see your name written in neon lights!
