“Naked Yet Crowned: Return to Your Seat”

"If Solomon was naked, would he still be king?"
This is what I heard the Lord speak as I slept.
I instantly woke up and wrote it in my journal.
What the Holy Spirit spoke to me:
Your identity is not in your possessions, your talents, your connections, your beauty, your charisma, or even your wisdom. Your identity is in Me.
I am the One who knit you together in your mother's womb.
I am the One who knew you before anyone ever saw your face.
I know your past, your present, and your future, with no confusion, no distortion, no fear.
When you enter this world, life begins placing things upon you: layers, labels, expectations, wounds, opinions, survival patterns and masks that were never meant to belong to you.
They cover, hide, distort, and weigh you down.
And then we spend years, sometimes decades, chiseling off what never belonged to you in the first place, so your true self in Me can emerge.
He showed me, that this process, resembles weight gain, easy to put on, painfully slow to shed.
Fall off for one weekend, and you wake up heavier on Monday.
But to lose it? To break free from what was never ours? Now, that takes intentionality, effort, surrender, and sacrifice!
This is what we call, the crushing, the wilderness, what so many of us have been through, time and time again. Life gives us baggage; it puts yokes on us that we were never designed to carry.
He asked again:
“If Solomon was naked, would he still be king?”
Yes, because identity is bestowed by Me, not garments, not thrones, not wealth.
But hear this:
If he walked out of the palace and abdicated his position, he would not be able to rule as one. He would still be king by identity, yet he would no longer live as king by function.
Because identity is given by Me, but walking in that identity, is a choice.
I thought to myself:
“Wow! We can still be royals and yet live like paupers?!”
What a scary truth!
To be crowned by Heaven yet crawl through life like we’re unworthy? To have authority but live apologetically? To inherit a kingdom but stay sitting outside the palace gates in fear?
To have the keys to freedom yet still chose to live in chains. To have a royal identity, yet lose our position, to have a throne yet be displaced.
No thank you! Absolutely not.
I refuse to be displaced. I refuse to forget my seat. I refuse to live like a pauper when Heaven calls me royal.
I will not apologize for the authority God handed me.
I will not bow to shame, fear, or false humility.
I will not stand outside the palace door God opened for me.
I am not begging for crumbs when my Father has prepared a table.
I am not shrinking back into survival when grace called me to reign.
I am not handing my throne to insecurity, disappointment, or old identities.
I am returning to my seat!
Because His return is near, there is an urgency in the Spirit. The Lord is calling His Bride into her fullness, no more hiding, no more delay, no more living beneath our royal name. Especially His daughters. For in this hour, the women of God are rising in purity, authority, and identity, no longer timid, no longer uncertain, no longer apologizing for the oil we carry. Heaven is summonsing His bride to stand in her true stature before the King returns.
So many of us know we have been chosen, we declare it, we believe it, yet we’ve stepped outside the palace of purpose, and laid down our authority because fear whispered:
“Who do you think you are?”
It’s normal to doubt yourself, to feel underqualified, these are signs of humility, but if you know God has called you, you need to believe Him!
You need to step back into the palace. It’s OK, it’s not too late, you haven’t missed it. You just laid your crown down for a time, you didn’t lose it, you just left your throne for a moment.
Your King Is calling you back to reign, because your calling never expired, you simply stopped occupying the seat Heaven reserved for you.
Identity is eternal. Position must be stewarded. Authority must be walked in.
Even naked, you are royal. But to rule, you must return, to govern, you must step back in.
Daughters, reclaim your throne.
Esther didn’t become queen when she put on royal garments, she became queen when she took her position in courage, in obedience, and surrender.
Her crown was not proven in beauty, but in boldness, your identity is settled, your authority activates when you stand in it.
“Solomon would still be king if he was naked."
Why?
Because I made him king. His crown did not come from royal garments, silver, gold or even his wisdom, it came from My decree and his birthright.
He was a king before he ever wore robes, before the throne ever touched his body.
He was a king when he entered the world, and he was a king when he left it.
Naked or adorned, rich or poor, seen or unseen, wise or unwise, he would still be who I said he was.
So, daughter, do not search for identity in what you have, what you can do, who knows your name, how gifted you are, or how many follow you.
You are already validated; you are already approved, already chosen, already crowned.
Just as Esther had to shed the orphan identity to step into a crown that was already hers;
you too must strip off what life placed on you. Peel back what trauma taught you.
Lay down what survival strapped to your soul.
Return to your natural, original, God-formed state; so I can clothe you again, in righteousness, in royal identity, in purpose, in glory, and in truth.
Your robe is not your identity, your platform is not your worth, your gifting is not your name.
Your calling is not your clothing, you were Mine before the mantle, you were royal before the recognition; but mostly you were beloved before you ever believed you were.
And nothing you lose, and nothing you gain, changes who I said you are.
The Lord Is asking us:
“Are you My daughter because of your mantle, or My love?”
“If the titles, platforms, ministry, applause were stripped, would you still know who you are?
“Can you still stand in your authority when you're stripped of everything familiar?”
Meditate on these questions this weekend and really dig deep into the roots of the distorted beliefs about yourself.
Lord, strip us of false identity.
Remove every garment that shame placed on us; every label trauma attached to us, every lie we agreed with, every weight that was never ours to carry.
Clothe us again in who we truly are in You: a royal daughter, chosen and set apart. Amen.
If this word stirred something in you, if you felt the tug in your spirit, the awakening in your heart, the reclaiming of your royal seat, then this is your invitation.
