Faith Is a Seed

In my life, I’ve had to make many decisions that required absolute trust, and blind faith in God.
And I’ve learned something through every one of those moments:
the size of the breakthrough I was praying for was always dependent on the size of the step of faith I was willing to take.
Faith is a seed, and every seed must be planted through action.
Because faith without works is dead.
Obeying God’s instructions, especially when they defy human logic, is where faith is proven. It’s in those moments that heaven leans in to see if we’ll trust God’s wisdom above our own understanding.
When you take a step of faith, you’re planting a seed in the soil of the miraculous.
The bigger the risk, the deeper the trust required, the greater the harvest that follows.
Think about Abraham.
He waited years for the manifestation of God’s covenant promise, a son, Isaac, the living evidence of God’s word fulfilled.
But then, God asked him to lay that very promise on the altar.
Why would God ask that?
Because He needed to see if Abraham trusted Him with the promise as much as he trusted Him for the promise.
And because that seed, Isaac, was essential for the nations God had spoken of to come forth.
But God never intended to take Isaac.
He simply wanted Abraham’s heart, to see that nothing and no one came before Him.
So if God is asking you to surrender something precious, something that gives you peace of mind, something that feels like security or comfort, something you can’t imagine living without, it’s not because He wants to take from you.
It’s because He’s positioning you for increase.
He’s preparing to bless you beyond measure, to pour out what you couldn’t contain if your hands were still full.
Sometimes God tests what you treasure to reveal what you trust.
And the moment you say yes, fully surrendered, holding nothing back, the heavens open.
The harvest comes.
And what once felt like a sacrifice becomes the very seed of your miracle.
🌾 Your obedience is the seed. Your miracle is the harvest.
Trust God, He wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams, therefore your seed must be something that you would never sacrifice.
Step out of the boat! Your destiny awaits!
