Arise! For You Are The Chosen One!

This morning, the Lord wants you to know: as you go about your daily responsibilities, as you stay obedient in the small tasks, as you fight your daily battles against trials and the attacks of the enemy, He is training you for rulership.

As you humbly and diligently put your hands to the plow, day after day, He meets you there. And when you least expect it, you will hear the call. You will find yourself chosen and positioned for something far greater than you could think or imagine.

They may have overlooked you. They may not have considered you. They may have even forgotten you. But God has not. He has prepared you, preserved you, and reserved you for such a time as this.

He will anoint and exalt you in the presence of your enemies. His favor will rest upon you, whether people see it, whether they accept it or not. It does not matter, because He has chosen you.

The grace that once covered others who sought their own agendas will be lifted. But you, whose heart is pure and shepherd-like, He will establish. You love His people, you care for them, your words are like honey, and your very presence calms the storms raging within their souls.

And because of this, even your enemies will be compelled to show you favor. For when you are chosen, no power in hell or on earth can stop the plans of God as you walk in obedience to His ways.

All you need is a sling and a stone. And that Stone is Jesus Christ Himself.

Your time of recognition has come. Suddenly, you will be called into spaces that seem far bigger than your skills, knowledge, or experience. But do not fear, He has trained you. Every lesson, every trial, every hidden season will come rushing back to your remembrance, and you will rise effortlessly, walking in divine authority and undeniable favor.

“And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.” (1 Samuel 16:11–13)

“A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great.” (Proverbs 18:16)

“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” (Proverbs 16:7)

You are ready, beloved, to slay every giant in your path.

Arise, for you are the chosen one.
